You reach the Merapi Jeep base.
Time to swap cars and hop into a rugged 4WD Jeep. Now the real fun starts—speeding up Merapi’s slopes in the chilly pre-dawn air. You’ll stop at some pretty stunning sunrise spots and snap a bunch of photos before heading back down to the base camp.
Before 7:00 AM :
Next, it’s off to Gunung Kidul.
Jomblang Cave is waiting, and the journey keeps rolling.
Before 9:00 AM :
You arrive at the caving meeting point.
Grab a cup of coffee or hot tea, pull on the boots they give you, and get ready for what’s next.
9:30 AM :
Everyone gathers at the cave entrance.
